Marching Yellow Jackets received two "superior" and five "excellent" ratings for an overall "excellent" at VBODA
Marching Yellow Jackets swept second place at the Woodbridge Marching Band Competition

Marching Yellow Jackets participated in the North Stafford High School Marching Band Competition and were awarded:
2nd place: Band
2nd place: Auxilliaries
3rd place: Music
3rd place: Overall
September 17, 2011:
Marching Yellow Jackets received the following awards at the Hylton Marching Band Competition:
2nd place: Auxiliaries
2nd place: General Effect
3rd place: Music
This is a great job for only their second performance of the show and the first competition of the season.
