Audition Information
Auditions are required to join the Wind Ensemble due to the limited number of available seats.
Students who would like to be in band but do not wish to audition may join Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble or Marching Band.
Wind Ensemble auditions are by appointment in the band room

Audition Materials:
Scales:
Students must play two Major Scales and the Chromatic Scale (from as low to as high as you can play). District requirements preferred.
Prepared Etude:
Students will be asked to play a prepared etude from this year's All County Band Audition (see music below).
Sight-Reading:
Students will have a brief sight-reading example to play.
Optional:
Short piece of your choosing.
